Over the winter at DDCE, we’ve been recruiting a new group of directors to take us into the future, as those incredible individuals who founded the organisation prepared to retire. They’re a dynamic set of locals with the skills, heart and drive to create more success stories for community energy in Derbyshire. Read about them here.
During our recruitment phase, we were also lucky enough to meet Dami Aluko, an energy & sustainability professional who lives in Scotland. He has a vast amount of knowledge and experience spanning:
☀️ technical renewable energy installations (particularly solar & battery storage)
📊 project modelling – both technical and financial
🤝 driving investment & engagement
🕸️ smart grids & innovation.
It is very rare to meet someone with all these skills, and with actual experience of implementing smart grids for localised developments! We are delighted that he is joining us as Advisor to the Board, and we are so looking forward to collaborating into the future.
We are also welcoming several volunteers to our small team. Keep an eye out for future posts introducing them!
